How much time will you have to prepare?
Immediate may mean 15 minutes to depart - what can you prepare in that time?
Prepare for several days without shelter?
What is most important to save?
Take prepared Go-bags and evacuate

You may need to evacuate because of damage, possible aftershocks or threat of fires
You may need to shelter-in-place for a time
Shelter-in-place
Shelter at your home or at with a neighbor with an undamaged home
Plan for living 2-weeks without power, internet or city water
Plan for possibly living outside for a time
Evacuation
Who will you call or text?
Where will you meet if separated?
What alternate routes will you take if the main route is blocked or stopped traffic?
Don't forget to plan for:
Clothing and bedding
Pets - carriers, leashes, food, medications
Prescriptions - have extra supply for emergencies, but don’t keep them in the Go-bag due to expiration dates
Cash - small bills - how much will you need if ATMs are not dispensing?
Important papers - passports, insurance policies
Check in with your LEP Block Captain before evacuation so that they know you are safe!
